I never wanted to go down the path of Linux on the desktop because Linus himself says it sucks super bad... but a comedy of errors made me quickly adapt and ramp up to it and overcome most of the challenges that were not even a few hours figuring out in Windows.

I spent a year in the school at the agency trying to do a technology class for the kids; they just aren't into it man. It isn't even remotely interesting to them, and I can't motivate them about what I actually do for a living. Nobody wants to be the kid that got picked on in high school.
Why would a website say my order was 12/31/1969 when the internet wasn't even a thing then?
I had a friend ask me the other day why their order from Chewy.com said it would be delivered Dec 31 on 1969. Here I am trying to ELI5 it, but I probably made it even more complicated than the initial comment.
WSL is cool, but "Enhanced Session" is cooler!
It seems almost like every time that I have to put WSL to the test, it really is lacking; Enhanced Mode sessions on Windows are the way to go for the most satisfactory Linux experience which exists under Hyper-V more than WSL.
