Oh hey everyone! I am really new to this whole content creation thing, and while it has been on the back burner for me for a long time - this is my first actual post that I am creating that is relevant to my goals of sharing my process of experiential learning. I think the most important thing to note here is that this is an attempt at continuous improvement of not just tech or content creation skills, but my own interpersonal interactions and social skills; there is much strife and conflict in the world today because every yahoo can say whatever they want online, and frequently, I am the yahoo wasting a lot of my own time interacting in a way that is not beneficial or healthy and letting my interactions harm my witness and faith walk. I suppose it is corny to blame it all on the new year and that I should probably say something vague like:
Big things coming in 2020!!! #BLESSED #YOLO #GRATEFUL
There basically was this dude who told me that I was wrong about something that I possess a good amount of subject-matter expertise which got my neck up, but made me realize it is time to confront some unhealthy patterns in my own life. I also am sure that there are a lot of things I am incorrect on, and hope that folks can educate me about some things that I might not have 100% correct! Much of my intended purpose for 'blogging and jogging' is to provide some accountability in a public way in my quest to become a better human.
I guess we are just into 2020 and I want to be more kind and gentle in the way that I interact with people and honor everyone with my interactions instead of coming across as a pretentious jerk on the internet. This is a nerdy story about vi/vim and the differences between the two - and how I am trying to combat Facebook drama with a personalized video that I hope results in friendly relations instead of more of the polarization and silos that have become so common this day and age. I don't know if this is as informative as many other sources about this particular thing.
This is my attempt at being kind and helpful instead of like the comic book store owner in the Simpsons... even though I may actually be farther from the mark than I would like!
I think it is great that I called Bram from Vim "Bram Stoker" lol
I'm heeerree to driiinkkk youuurrr blooood!!!!
I sure hope dude goes to ride bikes with me and we can collaborate on nerdy pursuits!
